Have you ever had an experience that was this powerful where you had no doubt God was with you? I mean, not everyone gets to go to the moon! But we may all have had an experience where God became very tangible. Do you think these are legitimate experiences?
I tried to think of a specific time where I felt God very near. I can remember some answered prayers where the answer seemed to come very swiftly. I can remember times of revelation when I knew somehow that God was giving me an insight. (Sometimes that insight turned into a means for me to see what God really wanted me to see and it wasn't what I initially thought!)
How can you tell the difference between feeling 'inspired' and feeling the presence of God?
I think there might be a way. God will always lead us to more confidence and faith. God will always lead us toward loving one another on a deeper level. God will lead us to accepting one another and letting worry go. God will always lead us to be generous and caring. If your experience included any of these things, you can call yourself lucky or blessed or whatever positive adjective you want to use. God was there and was behind you, within you, around you.
